When you have your dream job

About seven years ago I plucked up the courage to tell a new friend that what I really wanted to do more than anything was to travel the world making films.

I think she laughed.

I probably did too. It seemed like a million miles away from the English grad I was. I had zero camera skills, hadn't seen that many documentaries, wasn't that into TV and to be honest hadn't done much traveling either.

Fast forward to now, and somehow, by the wonderful twists of fate and being in the right place at the right time (and working my ass off!)  I am living the dream.

Yesterday I was on a boat in Croatia getting wind blasted and battered by salty splashes. I hiked up prickly mountains to get good shots, timelapsed a sunset and ended with a night off dancing in the tiny local bar with fishermen... I mean. This is my life?!

I'd like to think I'm always pretty grateful for the amazing opportunities and support I have had to be able to do what I do... but yesterday was one of those days where I really stop and look around and pinch myself.

Life is good!

I just hope I can do it justice and keep working hard to deserve it.... gotta work hard to get those dreams and keep them alive!

Hustle, hustle, hustle!
